For those who feel forest school is 'just running around in the woods', we offer something a little different... 

Themed sessions introducing subjects such as historical periods, fashion and jewellery or traditional toy making, provide the starting point for a new adventure.

Children aged 5 to 11 years are free to experiment and steer their learning, exploring any aspect of the topic that captures their interest or prompts new ideas.

Themed blocks of weekly sessions allow time for full immersion in topics where activities could include constructing armour, tools, pottery, weaving, mosaic, storytelling and drama.

Carers are asked to stay with their children and are invited to enjoy hot drinks and a chat with other carers while their children attend.
